Where would you like to store pots & pans, silverware, plates and dishes? What about the trash and recycling? Do you need an appliance garage?

After you have considered these key aspects about the look and function of your future kitchen, it's time to make a phone call.

To prepare an initial bid, we will need to understand your design preferences. Are you leaning towards a traditional, contemporary, modern, or “mountain modern” style?

Together, we will select the wood species, door style, paint or stain colors, and consider your preferences for countertop material and style.

Don’t worry, changes can be made as the design process evolves.

Quartz counter tops are the choice of over 95% of our customers. Why? Quartz requires almost no maintenance and has a water tight seal. Quartz tops offer a wider selection of colors and patterns with more consistency in color from one slab to another. While natural stone like Quartzite is stronger and more heat resistant, it requires an annual sealing process to make sure it will continue functioning properly. While the process is fairly simple, most people prefer a maintenance free solution. Often, a simple heating pad can be used to overcome any issues that quartz has with high level heat.

We offer a large variety of quartz and natural stone counter top options. Choose from MSI, DalTile, Arizona Tile, Silestone and Cambria. Prices vary between materials, colors and patterns, but we will help you choose a few of your favorites and provide you the price for your specific kitchen.

It's important to decide whether you want to keep or upgrade the following appliances currently in your kitchen, as we will need accurrate dimensions to make sure you have an ideal fit.

Will you be updating your flooring or will we design with a “foot-print match”? Whether it be a new tile floor, or a floating floor like laminate, we need to be made aware of the type and thickness of the new or existing flooring so that your design works with it, not against it.

Are you planing to change your kitchen lighting, perhaps including LED lighting inside and/or under the wall cabinets? Be sure you and your general contractor discuss and make any necessary adjustments in the wiring to accommodate your new lighting before the installation of the cabinets is scheduled.

We can deliver cabinets into your garage or home as long as there are no obstacles like low hanging trees or private bridges. Since we do not provide storage services, you must be ready to receive the delivery on the specified date or make other arrangements before ordering. The homeowner, or a person with the approval of the homeowner, must be present to sign for the delivery.

We require half of the cabinet contract price when the contract is signed, and the remainder at the time of delivery. Please have a check or cash ready when you receive your delivery of cabinets to prevent any issues with the delivery. A credit card can also be used to pay, but comes with a 3.5% service fee by the credit card processor. This fee is not applied to cash or check.

Once all the above steps have taken place, it’s now time to order your cabinets and schedule a delivery date. The lead time varies with each cabinet manufacturer line, but we will provide a home delivery date approximately seven to ten days after ordering. Please make sure to inform us of any issues or obstacles that may prevent a box truck delivery so arrangements can be made ahead of time. We require a 50% deposit upfront and your signature on the contract and all cabinet plans and drawings. No changes can be made once the cabinets are ordered, so please make sure to go over the layout and style with your designer thoroughly and ask any final questions you may have.

Please be sure to read through the entire contract. If you are acting as your own installer, use the date to make any other scheduling considerations. If you are hiring a general contractor, we can call them and provide the delivery date, floor plans, and installation packets. Alternatively, we offer the services of local contractors we constistently work with and whos services you can use for peace of mind on your project.

We work with local and experienced cabinet installers. When we present your bid for new cabinets, we will also offer a bid from the contractors with whom we have worked with in the past. They will provide a separate contract if you choose them for your installation and can often perform additional services at your request as necessary.

As a word of caution, when home owners or contractors who are not experienced in cabinet installation attempt to install, it is more likely that issues may occur. Just as you use electricians to install wiring, and plumbers to install plumbing fixtures, we recommend that you use the experienced cabinet installers we have worked with in the past for the best results.

If your countertops are quartz, tile, or natural stone, they will require plywood “decking.” Our countertop contract states that the recommended installers will install plywood decking on top of the cabinets if you choose that option. If however you choose to use other installers, then plywood must be provided and installed by you or your contractors.

We will schedule a date and window of time for the countertop fabricators to make a “template” for your tops. The home owner or someone empowered by the owners to sign for the tops must be present or the appointment will have to be rescheduled and additional fees may be incurred unless notified ahead of time. Sinks, faucets and appliance specifications must be on-site in order to make the template.

Normal lead time for template to installation of tops is seven to ten working days. Be sure to keep in mind that special-order counter top materials can cause a longer lead time and are non-refundable.
